I got two blogs!

Another late night entry.
Yes I have two blogs.  Both for my wedding company.  I don't care if its overkill....


My daughter and I had good day together while mommy was at work.  She seems to like to snack all day.  She'll occasionally take take down a whole plate, but I think she enjoys small meals throughout the day.  I been wondering what this whole blog thing is really about and how this blog will help my business Madeline Weddings.  You should definitely check out our website and recommend us to anyone you think might be looking for a videographer.  madelineweddings.com.  Check it out.

Madeline has started to sing and dance like she is a star.  She seems like she might be a "dramatic one"....She wants to dress herself, and apply mommy's makeup, and mimic mamma and her girlfriends every move.

She does like to run around and jump and play with me.  Everything is so new and amazing to her, she is excited AND territorial about things like crayons and snacks.  We are desperately trying to incorporate the word share into her vocabulary.

A message from Madeline

Hello Everyone


Thanksgiving was last week and I think I have had enough food to last a life time.  I have been putting in many hours in getting Madeline Weddings noticed online without the help of advertising.  I plan on spending the money very soon, but for now I am going to see what Madeline Weddings social media skills can do on their own.  I will need all your help, so like me and follow me and read my blog and share my blog and maybe I will give you a bit of enjoyment from all my new adventures....that's www.madelineweddings.com

Today Madeline and I made shadow puppets on the wall...again.  She has fun watching my impromptu performances.  Sometimes all I do is make animal sounds effects and it seems to please her need for entertainment.  We made some dinner and read a few stories together.  We watched some TV, but not too much, because mom doesn't like too much television.  I have to start editing a new wedding this week.  Now that I have time to edit I plan on getting the skeleton of this wedding done tonight.  I'll finish a highlight video once I get the extended footage all cut up and placed.

Madeline and I read "green eggs and ham" tonight.  I think she likes the book, because she always listens intently...or maybe she is just waiting to turn the page.  She is the page turner! And if you don't read pages fast enough she gets impatient and tries to turn the page ahead of you...

Anyways, Madeline and I shared some ice cream from Baskin Robbins earlier today, she really enjoyed it and didn't make too big of a mess...mom was pleased....mom also got a "Mani-Pedi"....we love mom.

Alright, so I will keep this short but if you happen to read this entry and you are looking to get your wedding filmed somewhere in southern california and you do not want to spend too much money, "keep it cheap" if you will, I will work with any budget to get you a good product that you will cherish.  I will provide you with wonderful videography that will capture your wedding day just like you imagined.

A New Look

Considering it is the holidays and I am very busy with my lounging, I will make this blog short.  My Lifted Focus blog has been changed to Madeline Weddings.  I have stepped away from Lifted Focus and will now give my attention to Madeline Weddings.

Movin' on up

Lifted Focus is on the verge of global success.  Global, like the band U2...well, maybe more of a local accomplishment.  I cannot stress enough  how much I would love to film and edit for the rest of my life.  I would love to be working all day, everyday, because I had to.  If it was something that would allow me to travel and return with footage and edit from home, I would jump at the opportunity to work 60+ hour weeks.

I have started to ramble again....

Race For The Cure: Documenting a Heroic Act to Save the Tatas

So, tomorrow I will be shooting a great video intended to promote Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure and Team Yard House.  I have been given the opportunity and along with my business partner, our company, Lifted Focus will be given full freedom to film as we please.

I have been having trouble with one thing.  How I intend on shooting....."my vision" if you will.  Since I will be documenting in order to promote Susan G. Komen and Race for the Cure, will anyone REALLY mind if I film their....breasts? I would doubt it.  That is what we are here to celebrate.

It's funny, my wife and I have recently had a baby....well, she had the baby, I was the wimpy husband.  We have a beautiful baby girl named Madeline.  After the first 8 months you begin to see the miracle of the female body.  The breasts are a crazy thing.

Without being hokey in anyway I intend on making this video very bright and colorful and hopeful.  I intend on capturing laughter, and celebrations.  Tears of joy and tears of sadness.  Hugs and kisses.  Handshakes and high-fives.

This video is for a great cause and I can't wait to see the finished product.

I only have a moment...

I am at my other job right now waiting to start working.  I thought I get in a few words about our latest projects. We have a videography gig for a wedding coming up.  Quite possibly this Sunday we will be shooting the Huntington Beach Dog Surf Competition....yup, dogs will be on surfboards...surfing...in the ocean.  Lifted Focus will also be working with the Yard House later this year or the start of next year for a philanthropic promotion.

Well, I gotta go to work.
